Driver charged in fatal collision; police issue fraud advisory

A 59-year-old pedestrian was struck by a vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene. The identity of the victim has not been released pending notification of next of kin. The driver has been released on bail and is scheduled to appear in court on a later date.
