A man has been arrested in connection with an alleged bank robbery in Montreal.
According to police, the incident occurred on Tuesday afternoon at a bank located on Saint-Jacques Street in the city’s Notre-Dame-de-Grâce neighborhood.
Witnesses reported seeing a man enter the bank and demand money from the teller. He then fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash.
Police were able to track down the suspect and make an arrest shortly after the robbery took place. The man, whose identity has not been released, is facing charges of robbery and possession of stolen property.
No injuries were reported during the incident.
Authorities are reminding the public to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity to the police.
