A driver has been airlifted to a hospital following a serious crash in Taber, Alberta.
According to authorities, the incident occurred on Highway 3 near the intersection of Highway 864 on Tuesday afternoon.
Emergency crews were called to the scene around 2:30 p.m. and found a single vehicle that had rolled over.
The driver, who was the sole occupant of the vehicle, was trapped inside and had to be extricated by firefighters.
They were then airlifted to a hospital in Calgary with serious injuries.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation, but officials say road conditions may have been a factor.
Highway 3 was closed in both directions for several hours as crews worked to clear the scene and investigate the crash.
Motorists were advised to avoid the area and use alternate routes.
