A business in Verdun has been targeted by a Molotov cocktail for the second night in a row, according to police.
The incident occurred at a business on Wellington Street near Galt Street around 2:30 a.m. on Tuesday. The previous night, a similar attack took place at the same location.
Police say that the Molotov cocktail was thrown at the front door of the business, causing minor damage. No injuries were reported.
Authorities are currently investigating the incidents and are asking anyone with information to come forward.
This is not the first time this particular business has been targeted. In June, a Molotov cocktail was thrown at the same location, causing significant damage.
The owner of the business, who wishes to remain anonymous, says they are shocked and scared by the repeated attacks. They have no idea why their business is being targeted.
Police are currently reviewing surveillance footage and are asking for the public’s help in identifying the suspect or suspects involved.
In the meantime, the business owner is taking extra precautions to ensure the safety of their employees and customers.
This is a developing story and we will continue to provide updates as more information becomes available.
