Montreal Police Investigating Another Arson After Rockaberry Targeted
Montreal police are currently investigating yet another case of arson after a popular bakery, Rockaberry, was targeted in the early hours of Monday morning.
According to authorities, the incident occurred at around 3:30 am at the Rockaberry location on Monkland Avenue in the Notre-Dame-de-Grâce neighborhood. The fire was quickly contained by firefighters, but not before causing significant damage to the building.
This is the second time in less than a month that Rockaberry has been the victim of arson. The first incident occurred on November 17th at their location on Queen Mary Road, just a few blocks away from the recent incident.
Police are treating both incidents as connected and are currently investigating the possibility of a serial arsonist targeting the popular bakery chain. No suspects have been identified at this time.
Rockaberry has released a statement expressing their shock and disappointment at the repeated attacks on their business. They have also reassured their customers that they are working closely with authorities to ensure the safety of their staff and customers.
The Montreal police arson squad is urging anyone with information about the incidents to come forward and assist with the investigation. They are also reminding the public to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity in the area.
This latest incident has raised concerns about the safety of businesses in the area and has left many residents feeling uneasy. The community is coming together to support Rockaberry and show their solidarity against these senseless acts of violence.
As the investigation continues, Montreal police are urging anyone with information to contact them or Crime Stoppers anonymously. The safety and security of our community is of utmost importance, and we must work together to bring those responsible to justice.
