According to Toronto police, the incident occurred around 6:30 p.m. at the intersection of Lawrence Avenue East and Scarborough Golf Club Road.
The woman, whose identity has not been released, was crossing the street when she was struck by a vehicle. She suffered life-threatening injuries and was rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment.
