The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) is seeking the public’s assistance in locating a missing senior, and they are asking for the driver of a specific vehicle to come forward for questioning.

According to the RCMP, 86-year-old John Smith was last seen on December 28, 2020, in the area of Main Street and 1st Avenue in Vancouver. He was reported missing by his family on January 4, 2021.

In their search for Mr. Smith, the RCMP has released a photo of a vehicle that was seen in the area where he was last seen. The vehicle is described as a white 2019 Toyota RAV4 with British Columbia license plate number ABC123.

The RCMP is asking anyone who may have seen this vehicle or has information about its owner to come forward and speak with them. They stress that the driver is not considered a suspect, but they may have valuable information that could assist in locating Mr. Smith.

Mr. Smith is described as a Caucasian male, 5’8″ tall, with a slim build and short grey hair. He was last seen wearing a black jacket, black pants, and a black baseball cap.
