Prince George RCMP are appealing to the public for any information regarding a recent fire at the B.C. Highway 97 weigh scales.
The blaze, which occurred on January 12, caused significant damage to the weigh scales and surrounding area. The Prince George Fire Department was able to extinguish the fire, but not before it caused extensive damage.
RCMP are now seeking witnesses who may have seen any suspicious activity in the area leading up to the fire. They are also asking for any dashcam footage from drivers who were passing by the weigh scales at the time of the incident.
