The Insurance Brokers Association of Ontario (IBAO) has recently announced the launch of their Young Brokers Conference (YBCCon), a platform aimed at empowering the next generation of insurance leaders.
The YBCCon is a one-day event that will take place on October 29, 2021, and will be held virtually due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. The conference will feature a variety of sessions and workshops designed to provide young brokers with the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed in the insurance industry.
According to IBAO CEO Colin Simpson, the YBCCon is an important initiative for the association as it recognizes the need to support and develop the next generation of insurance professionals. “We are excited to offer this conference to young brokers and provide them with the tools and resources they need to thrive in their careers,” said Simpson.
The conference will cover a wide range of topics, including leadership, sales and marketing, technology, and personal development. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn from industry experts and network with their peers, gaining valuable insights and building connections that will benefit them in their careers.
One of the highlights of the conference will be the keynote address by renowned speaker and author, Simon Sinek. Sinek is known for his inspiring talks on leadership and has authored several best-selling books, including “Start With Why” and “Leaders Eat Last.”
In addition to the keynote address, the YBCCon will also feature a panel discussion with young brokers who have achieved success in the industry. This session will provide attendees with real-life examples and practical advice on how to excel in their careers.
