A man and a woman have been charged after the Nanaimo RCMP successfully recovered a stolen truck.
According to police, the truck was reported stolen on February 22nd and was located the following day in the parking lot of a local business. The truck was found with a different license plate and had been spray-painted in an attempt to disguise it.
After further investigation, the Nanaimo RCMP were able to identify the suspects and arrested them on February 24th. The man and woman, both in their 30s, were charged with possession of stolen property and mischief.
