3-vehicle crash in Surrey sends 2 to hospital, including pedestrian

A three-vehicle crash in Surrey has resulted in two individuals being hospitalized, including a pedestrian.

According to authorities, the incident occurred on Wednesday evening at the intersection of 152 Street and 64 Avenue. The collision involved a car, a truck, and a pedestrian.

Emergency services were immediately dispatched to the scene and upon arrival, they found two individuals with injuries. One of them was the pedestrian, who was struck by one of the vehicles. The other injured individual was a passenger in one of the vehicles involved in the crash.

Both individuals were transported to the hospital for treatment. The extent of their injuries is currently unknown.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation. However, witnesses at the scene reported that one of the vehicles ran a red light, causing the collision.

The intersection was closed for several hours as authorities conducted their investigation and cleared the scene. It has since been reopened to traffic.
