Police say the victim, a man in his 30s, was found with multiple gunshot wounds and was rushed to a trauma centre for treatment.

The suspect is described as a male wearing a dark hoodie and dark pants. He was last seen fleeing the scene on foot.

The investigation is ongoing and police are appealing to anyone with information to come forward.

This is the second shooting in the Etobicoke area in less than a week. Last Thursday, a 17-year-old boy was shot and killed in a parking lot near Kipling Avenue and Albion Road.

Residents in the area are expressing concern and fear over the recent increase in gun violence.
