A tragic car accident in Winnipeg, Manitoba has claimed the life of one man, according to the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP).
The incident occurred on Sunday evening at the intersection of St. Anne’s Road and Fermor Avenue. The RCMP responded to a call about a collision between a car and a semi-truck.
Upon arrival, officers found the driver of the car, a 35-year-old man, with serious injuries. He was transported to the hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries.
The driver of the semi-truck was not injured in the crash.
The intersection was closed for several hours as the RCMP conducted their investigation. They have not released any information about the cause of the accident at this time.
The name of the victim has not been released, pending notification of next of kin.
