Niagara Police Investigate Death of 27-Year-Old Hamilton Woman Found in Rural Area
The Niagara Regional Police Service is currently investigating the death of a 27-year-old woman from Hamilton, whose body was discovered in a rural area on Sunday morning.
According to police, the woman’s body was found in a field near the intersection of Roland Road and Silver Street in the town of Wainfleet. The area is located approximately 30 kilometers west of Niagara Falls.
The identity of the woman has not been released, pending notification of next of kin. However, police have confirmed that she was a resident of Hamilton.
The investigation is still in its early stages, and police have not yet determined the cause of death. However, they have stated that the circumstances surrounding the woman’s death are considered suspicious.
The Niagara Regional Police Service’s Homicide Unit has taken over the investigation and is working closely with the Forensic Services Unit and the Coroner’s Office.
