In an exclusive interview, McCulloch sat down with CTV News to discuss his connection to Alberta and what audiences can expect from his highly anticipated performance.

Q: What inspired you to bring your one-man show to Edmonton?

A: Well, I was born in Edmonton and spent my formative years in Alberta, so it’s always been a special place for me. I have a lot of fond memories of performing in Edmonton and I wanted to come back and share my show with the people who helped shape me as a performer.

Q: Can you tell us a bit about your show and what audiences can expect?

A: My show is called “Tales of Bravery and Stupidity” and it’s a mix of stand-up comedy, storytelling, and music. It’s a very personal and intimate show where I share some of my most embarrassing and hilarious moments from my life and career. I also touch on some more serious topics, but overall it’s a fun and entertaining experience.

Q: How does it feel to be performing in your hometown?

A: It’s always special to perform in front of a hometown crowd. There’s a certain level of comfort and familiarity that you don’t get anywhere else. I’m excited to see some familiar faces in the audience and hopefully make some new fans as well.

Q: You have a long history with Alberta, what do you think sets it apart from other provinces?

A: I think there’s a certain resilience and sense of humor that comes with growing up in Alberta. It’s a place that has faced its fair share of challenges, but the people here always find a way to laugh and make the best of it. That’s something that has definitely influenced my comedy and I’m proud to call Alberta my home.

Q: Any final thoughts or messages for your fans in Edmonton?

A: I just want to say thank you for all the support over the years. I’m excited to bring my show to Edmonton and I hope to see you all there. And if you’re not a fan yet, come check out the show and maybe you’ll become one. Either way, it’s going to be a great night of laughter and storytelling.
