1 seriously injured, 2 arrested in Chilliwack shooting: RCMP

A shooting in Chilliwack, British Columbia has left one person seriously injured and two individuals in police custody, according to the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP).

The incident occurred on Sunday evening at around 7:30 p.m. in the 46000 block of Yale Road. The victim, whose identity has not been released, was found with serious injuries and was immediately transported to the hospital for treatment.

Upon arrival at the scene, RCMP officers arrested two suspects in connection with the shooting. The identities of the suspects have not been disclosed at this time.

The investigation is ongoing and police are urging anyone with information to come forward. They are also asking for any witnesses or individuals with dashcam footage from the area to contact them.
