According to authorities, the incident occurred around 9:30 p.m. near the intersection of Highway 40 and Highway 1. The collision involved two vehicles, a sedan and a pickup truck.
Emergency responders arrived at the scene and found two individuals with serious injuries. They were immediately transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.
