Police are searching for a suspect in a suspected hate-motivated assault that took place at Finch West Station.
According to authorities, the incident occurred on Monday, November 22nd, at around 9:30 pm. The victim, a 27-year-old man, was waiting for a bus at the station when he was approached by the suspect.
The suspect allegedly made derogatory comments towards the victim’s race and then proceeded to physically assault him. The victim sustained minor injuries and was treated at the scene by paramedics.
The suspect is described as a white male in his 30s, approximately 5’10” tall, with a medium build and short brown hair. He was last seen wearing a black jacket, blue jeans, and a black baseball cap.
