Winnipeg Police are currently on the lookout for three suspects involved in a robbery that took place in downtown Winnipeg.
According to authorities, the incident occurred on Tuesday evening at around 9:30 pm in the area of Portage Avenue and Main Street. The victim, a 32-year-old man, reported that he was approached by three individuals who demanded his personal belongings. The suspects then proceeded to physically assault the victim before fleeing the scene with his possessions.
The victim sustained minor injuries and was treated at the scene by paramedics.
The Winnipeg Police Service’s Major Crimes Unit is leading the investigation and is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the suspects. They have released surveillance footage of the incident and are urging anyone with information to come forward.
The first suspect is described as a Caucasian male, approximately 5’10” tall with a medium build. He was wearing a black hoodie, black pants, and a black baseball cap at the time of the robbery.
The second suspect is described as a Caucasian female, approximately 5’6″ tall with a slim build. She was wearing a grey hoodie, black pants, and a black baseball cap.
The third suspect is described as a Caucasian male, approximately 5’8″ tall with a medium build. He was wearing a black hoodie, black pants, and a black baseball cap.
