The Winnipeg Police Service has identified the woman who was found dead in a residence on November 30th, 2021.
According to police, the deceased has been identified as 32-year-old Sarah Thompson. Her body was discovered in a home on the 500 block of Sherbrook Street.
The cause of death has not been released, but police have confirmed that the death is being investigated as a homicide.
Thompson’s family has been notified of her death and are currently being supported by victim services.
The investigation is ongoing and police are asking anyone with information to come forward. They are particularly interested in speaking with anyone who may have been in the area of Sherbrook Street and Ellice Avenue between November 29th and 30th.
