A man has been hospitalized after a collision in Etobicoke on Monday evening.
According to Toronto police, the incident occurred at around 6:30 p.m. near the intersection of Kipling Avenue and Belfield Road.
The man, whose identity has not been released, was reportedly struck by a vehicle while crossing the street. He suffered serious injuries and was rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment.
The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and is cooperating with authorities. It is unclear at this time if any charges will be laid.
The intersection was closed for several hours as police investigated the scene. It has since been reopened to traffic.
