Four minors in Edmonton have been charged with attempted murder after a woman was found with serious injuries on Monday evening.
According to Edmonton police, the incident occurred in the area of 118 Avenue and 96 Street. The woman, who has not been identified, was found by a passerby and was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
After an investigation, police arrested four minors, aged 13 to 16, in connection with the incident. They have been charged with attempted murder and are currently in custody.
The Edmonton Police Service’s Child at Risk Response Team is leading the investigation, with assistance from the Homicide Section.
Police have not released any further details about the incident or the relationship between the minors and the victim.
