Two individuals have been hospitalized after a collision between a unicycle rider and a pedestrian in Etobicoke.
According to Toronto police, the incident occurred on Wednesday evening at the intersection of Kipling Avenue and The Queensway. The unicycle rider was traveling southbound on Kipling Avenue when they struck a pedestrian who was crossing the street.
Emergency services were called to the scene and both the unicycle rider and pedestrian were transported to a nearby hospital with serious injuries. The extent of their injuries is currently unknown.
The intersection was closed for several hours as police investigated the incident. It has since been reopened.
At this time, it is unclear who was at fault in the collision. Police have not released any information about the identities of the individuals involved.
