Two suspects involved in a shooting at a lounge in West Edmonton Mall have been identified as two of Canada’s most wanted individuals.
According to police, the shooting occurred on December 28, 2021, at around 8:30 p.m. at the Bourbon Street Lounge. The suspects, identified as 29-year-old Darnell Reid and 27-year-old Tyrell Wind, are both wanted on multiple charges, including attempted murder and possession of a weapon.
Reid and Wind are considered armed and dangerous, and police are urging the public to not approach them if they are spotted. Instead, anyone with information on their whereabouts is asked to contact the Edmonton Police Service or Crime Stoppers.
Both suspects have a history of violent offenses and are known to police. Reid is described as 6’2″ tall and weighing approximately 200 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. Wind is described as 5’9″ tall and weighing approximately 160 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.
The shooting at the lounge left one person injured, who was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Police believe the incident was targeted and not a random act of violence.
The Edmonton Police Service has released photos of the suspects and is asking for the public’s assistance in locating them. They are also reminding the public to always be aware of their surroundings and report any suspicious activity to the authorities.
