Former fashion mogul Peter Nygard is facing sentencing for his sexual assault convictions. The 79-year-old Canadian businessman, who once ran a multi-million dollar fashion empire, was found guilty of nine counts of sexual assault and one count of forcible confinement in December 2020.
The sentencing hearing is set to take place on Friday, May 14th, in a Winnipeg courtroom. Nygard’s legal team has requested a sentence of no more than 90 days, citing his age and health concerns.
