Police are searching for a man who allegedly assaulted one person with a hammer in the Parkdale neighborhood.
According to authorities, the incident occurred on Monday evening at around 7:30 p.m. in the area of Queen Street West and Jameson Avenue.
The suspect, described as a white male in his 30s, reportedly approached the victim and struck them with a hammer before fleeing the scene on foot.
The victim was taken to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police have released a surveillance image of the suspect and are asking for the public’s help in identifying him.
They are also urging anyone with information about the incident to come forward.
The suspect is considered to be armed and dangerous, and members of the public are advised not to approach him if spotted.
