A shooting in Toronto’s east end has left one person injured and three individuals arrested, according to police.
The incident occurred on Monday evening near the intersection of Danforth and Coxwell avenues. Police were called to the scene at around 8:30 p.m. after receiving reports of gunshots.
Upon arrival, officers found one person suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police have confirmed that three individuals have been taken into custody in connection with the shooting. Their identities have not been released at this time.
The area has been cordoned off as police continue to investigate the incident. Witnesses are being urged to come forward with any information they may have.
