West Kelowna police seek help identifying break-and-enter suspect

West Kelowna Police are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect involved in a recent break and enter incident.

According to authorities, the incident occurred on June 25th at a residence on the 3000 block of McTaggart Road in West Kelowna. The suspect allegedly entered the home and stole several items before fleeing the scene.

The West Kelowna RCMP have released a surveillance photo of the suspect in hopes that someone may recognize them and come forward with information. The photo shows a person wearing a dark hoodie, black pants, and a baseball cap.

Police are urging anyone with information about the suspect’s identity or whereabouts to contact the West Kelowna RCMP at 250-768-2880 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477. They also remind the public to always report any suspicious activity in their neighbourhood.

This incident serves as a reminder for residents to take necessary precautions to protect their homes and belongings. Police recommend installing security systems, locking doors and windows, and keeping valuables out of sight.
