Gunshots were fired into the home of Punjabi music star AP Dhillon in British Columbia, according to local authorities.

The incident occurred on Monday night in the city of Surrey, where Dhillon resides. Police were called to the scene after receiving reports of gunshots being heard in the area.

Upon arrival, officers found bullet holes in the front door and windows of Dhillon’s home. Fortunately, no one was injured in the shooting.

Dhillon, who is known for his popular Punjabi songs, was not at home at the time of the incident. It is unclear if anyone else was inside the residence during the shooting.

The Surrey Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) are currently investigating the incident and have not yet determined a motive for the shooting. They are asking anyone with information to come forward.

In a statement, Dhillon’s management team said they were grateful that no one was hurt and that they are cooperating with the police investigation.

This is not the first time Dhillon has been targeted. In October 2020, his vehicle was shot at while he was driving in Surrey. No one was injured in that incident either.

The Surrey RCMP is urging anyone with information about the shooting to contact them or Crime Stoppers. They are also increasing patrols in the area to ensure the safety of residents.

As the investigation continues, Dhillon’s fans and the Punjabi community are hoping for answers and justice for the targeted shooting at the home of their beloved music star.
