Renowned community leader and philanthropist, John Taylor, will be honored on the Brock Trail for his outstanding contributions to the city of Brockville.

In recognition of his remarkable legacy, the Brockville and Area Community Foundation (BACF) has announced that a section of the Brock Trail will be named after Taylor. The official unveiling of the John Taylor Trail will take place on September 12th, 2021, which would have been Taylor’s 80th birthday.
The BACF, along with the City of Brockville, has been working closely with Taylor’s family to ensure that the trail is a fitting tribute to his memory. The section of the trail that will bear his name is located near the historic Fulford Place, a location that held special significance to Taylor.
