A Winnipeg home has been demolished after experiencing its second fire in just one week.
The incident occurred on Monday morning at a residence on the 100 block of Bannerman Avenue. Firefighters were called to the scene around 4:30 a.m. and found the house engulfed in flames.
According to officials, the fire was quickly brought under control, but the damage was extensive. The home was deemed uninhabitable and had to be demolished for safety reasons.
This was the second fire at the same residence in just one week. On January 4th, firefighters responded to a blaze at the same address, which caused significant damage to the home.
