Montreal police asking for public’s help locating missing 84-year-old woman

Montreal Police are seeking the public’s assistance in locating an 84-year-old woman who has been reported missing.

According to authorities, the woman, identified as Marie Tremblay, was last seen on Monday afternoon in the Ahuntsic-Cartierville neighborhood. She was wearing a black coat, black pants, and black shoes at the time of her disappearance.

Tremblay is described as being 5’2″ tall, with a slim build and short white hair. She speaks French and may appear confused or disoriented.

Police are concerned for her well-being as she suffers from a medical condition that requires medication. They are urging anyone with information on her whereabouts to come forward.

In a statement, Montreal Police spokesperson Constable Caroline Chèvrefils said, “We are asking the public to keep an eye out for Mrs. Tremblay and to contact us immediately if they see her or have any information that could help us locate her.”

Anyone with information is asked to call 911 or contact their local police station. Tips can also be submitted anonymously through Info-Crime Montreal at 514-393-1133.

The search for Tremblay continues as authorities work to bring her home safely.
