A driver has been left in critical condition following a three-vehicle collision in Caledon.
According to authorities, the incident occurred on Wednesday afternoon at the intersection of Highway 10 and Charleston Sideroad. The collision involved a car, a pickup truck, and a transport truck.
Emergency services were called to the scene and the driver of the car was found to be in critical condition. They were transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.
The driver of the pickup truck sustained minor injuries and was also taken to the hospital for treatment. The driver of the transport truck was not injured.
The cause of the collision is still under investigation. However, witnesses reported that the car was attempting to make a left turn onto Charleston Sideroad when it was struck by the pickup truck. The impact of the collision caused the car to spin and hit the transport truck.
The intersection was closed for several hours as police investigated the scene and cleared the wreckage. It has since been reopened to traffic.
