A section of the westbound Gardiner Expressway in Toronto was forced to shut down after a vehicle collided with a fire truck on Monday evening.
According to Toronto police, the incident occurred around 8:30 p.m. near the Park Lawn Road exit. The fire truck was responding to an emergency call when it was struck by a vehicle, causing significant damage to both vehicles.
Fortunately, no one was injured in the collision. The driver of the vehicle was taken into custody for further investigation.
