A police officer has been transported to the hospital after a collision involving a cruiser in Toronto.
According to authorities, the incident occurred on Monday evening at the intersection of Dundas Street West and Spadina Avenue. The cruiser was reportedly responding to a call when it collided with another vehicle.
The officer, who has not been identified, was taken to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The driver of the other vehicle was also transported to the hospital for treatment.
The intersection was closed for several hours as police investigated the scene. It has since been reopened to traffic.
