Police are currently searching for the occupants of a vehicle who fled the scene after a collision in Scarborough.
According to authorities, the incident occurred on Monday evening at the intersection of Lawrence Avenue East and Markham Road. A vehicle, believed to be a black SUV, collided with another vehicle before the occupants fled on foot.
The driver of the other vehicle sustained minor injuries and was treated at the scene by paramedics.
Police have not yet released any information on the suspects or their possible motives. They are appealing to the public for any information or witnesses who may have seen the collision or the suspects fleeing the scene.
The intersection was closed for several hours as police investigated the incident and gathered evidence. It has since been reopened to traffic.
