The city of Surrey, British Columbia has announced a new project that will see major improvements to 138th Street and 72nd Avenue. The project, which is estimated to cost $138 million, aims to enhance safety and accessibility for residents and commuters in the area.

The project will include the widening of 138th Street from 72nd Avenue to 80th Avenue, as well as the addition of new bike lanes, sidewalks, and streetlights. This will not only improve traffic flow, but also provide a safer environment for pedestrians and cyclists.
