However, some residents are questioning the need for a recycling facility at the landfill, as there are already several recycling options available in the area. They are also concerned about the potential noise and traffic that may come with the construction and operation of the facility.
Others are worried about the impact on the local ecosystem, as the landfill is situated near a wetland and a river. They fear that the recycling process may release harmful chemicals and pollutants into the environment.
