Toronto Police are currently on the lookout for a man who is believed to have assaulted an individual in a parking lot.
According to authorities, the incident took place on Monday evening at around 8:30 p.m. in the area of Yonge Street and Eglinton Avenue. The suspect allegedly approached the victim and physically assaulted them before fleeing the scene.
The victim sustained minor injuries and was treated at the scene by paramedics.
Police have released a surveillance image of the suspect and are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying him. He is described as a white male in his 30s, approximately 5’10” tall with a medium build and short dark hair. He was last seen wearing a black jacket, dark pants, and a black baseball cap.
Anyone with information is urged to contact Toronto Police or Crime Stoppers anonymously. Investigators are also asking for any witnesses or individuals with dashcam footage from the area at the time of the incident to come forward.
Authorities are reminding the public to always be aware of their surroundings and to report any suspicious activity to the police immediately.
