Three individuals have been charged after a search warrant was executed at a residence in Grande Prairie, resulting in the seizure of drugs, paraphernalia, and cash.
According to authorities, the search warrant was carried out on March 4th at a residence on 99 Avenue. As a result, three individuals were arrested and charged with various drug-related offenses.
During the search, police seized a significant amount of drugs, including methamphetamine, cocaine, and fentanyl. They also found drug paraphernalia and a large sum of cash.
The three individuals, whose names have not been released, are facing charges of possession for the purpose of trafficking and possession of proceeds of crime.
This operation was a result of an ongoing investigation by the Grande Prairie RCMP Drug Unit, with the assistance of the Grande Prairie General Investigation Section and the Grande Prairie Crime Reduction Unit.
Sergeant Shawn Graham of the Grande Prairie RCMP stated, “The seizure of these drugs and cash is a significant blow to the illegal drug trade in our community. We will continue to work diligently to disrupt and dismantle these criminal operations.”
The three individuals have been released from custody and are scheduled to appear in court on April 14th.
