A lucky individual in Toronto has just become a multi-millionaire after winning the $70 million Lotto Max jackpot.
The winning ticket was sold in Toronto, according to the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLG). The exact location of where the ticket was purchased has not been disclosed at this time.
The winning numbers for the draw on Tuesday, March 2nd were 1, 5, 7, 13, 14, 24, and 25, with the bonus number being 41.
This is the second time in just over a month that a Lotto Max jackpot has been won in Ontario. In February, a ticket worth $70 million was sold in Brampton.
The OLG has yet to confirm if the winner has come forward to claim their prize. However, they do advise the lucky individual to sign the back of their ticket and contact the OLG Prize Centre as soon as possible.
The OLG also reminds players to check their tickets carefully as there were also 29 Maxmillions prizes of $1 million each up for grabs in Tuesday’s draw. The winning numbers for these prizes were 1, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 19, 20, 22, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30, 31, 33, 34, and 35.
Lotto Max is a nationwide lottery game in Canada, with draws taking place every Tuesday and Friday. The maximum jackpot is $70 million, with additional Maxmillions prizes available when the jackpot reaches $50 million.
