A cyclist in Mississauga is currently in critical condition after being struck by a vehicle on Monday evening.
According to Peel Regional Police, the incident occurred at the intersection of Hurontario Street and Eglinton Avenue around 6:30 p.m. The cyclist was reportedly crossing the intersection when they were hit by a vehicle.
Emergency services rushed to the scene and the cyclist was transported to a trauma centre with serious injuries. The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and is cooperating with the investigation.
