A 49-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a deadly stabbing that occurred in Brampton.
According to Peel Regional Police, the incident took place on Saturday evening at a residence on McLaughlin Road South. Upon arrival, officers found a man suffering from stab wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The victim has been identified as 35-year-old John Doe. His family has been notified of his death.
The suspect, whose name has not been released, was taken into custody at the scene. He has been charged with second-degree murder and is scheduled to appear in court on Monday.
