Officials to give wildfire update Thursday

Plenty of sunshine is expected in the Greater Toronto Area as thousands of kids head back to classrooms today, but it could be worth grabbing a light sweater for the start of the day.

Toronto fire crews were called to an area near Highway 400 and 401 after a vehicle containing three people left the road and became partially submerged in a water-filled ditch.

The city is advising caution at one of its beaches due to high E. coli levels in the water.
