‘Not going to stop’: Family of man missing from Halifax hospital appeal for help

Halifax police are seeking the public’s help in locating a missing man from the city’s south end.

According to authorities, 32-year-old John Smith was last seen on Tuesday afternoon in the area of Spring Garden Road and South Park Street.

Smith is described as a white male, approximately 6 feet tall with a medium build. He has short brown hair and was last seen wearing a black jacket, blue jeans, and black sneakers.

Police say they are concerned for Smith’s well-being and are asking anyone with information on his whereabouts to come forward.

In a statement, Halifax Regional Police Const. John Doe said, “We are asking anyone who may have seen Mr. Smith or has any information on his whereabouts to contact us immediately. We are concerned for his safety and want to ensure he is located as soon as possible.”
