Josh Classen's forecast: Warm & sunny spell begins, but gusty today

Edmonton and its surrounding areas can expect a warm and sunny spell in the coming days, according to meteorologist Josh Classen’s forecast. However, today may be a bit gusty.

Classen predicts that temperatures will reach a high of 18 degrees Celsius today, with a mix of sun and clouds. Wind gusts of up to 40 km/h are expected, so it may be wise to hold onto your hats.

But don’t let today’s gusty weather dampen your spirits, as Classen assures us that the rest of the week will bring plenty of sunshine and warmth. Temperatures are expected to climb to the mid-20s by Wednesday and Thursday, making it the perfect time to enjoy some outdoor activities.

As for the weekend, Classen predicts that a weak cold front may bring some scattered showers on Saturday, but it will quickly move out of the area, leaving us with a mix of sun and clouds for Sunday.

So, it seems like we can finally say goodbye to the chilly spring weather and welcome the much-awaited warm and sunny days. Don’t forget to apply sunscreen and stay hydrated while enjoying the beautiful weather.

Stay tuned for more updates on the weather forecast from Josh Classen and the CTV News team.
