Police and search and rescue crews are currently searching for a missing 10-year-old in Chetwynd, British Columbia.
According to authorities, the young boy was last seen on Sunday afternoon in the area of the Pine Valley Trailer Park. He was reported missing by his family at around 4:30 p.m.
The boy is described as having short brown hair and was last seen wearing a black hoodie, black pants, and black shoes. He is believed to be carrying a black backpack.
Police and SAR teams have been actively searching the area since the report was made. They have been using helicopters, ATVs, and ground searchers to cover the rugged terrain.
The search efforts have been focused on the area surrounding the trailer park, as well as nearby trails and wooded areas. The public is being asked to avoid the area to allow the search teams to work efficiently.
Authorities are also asking anyone who may have seen the boy or has any information on his whereabouts to contact the Chetwynd RCMP immediately.
