Female Arrested in Relation to Theft from a Residence in Welland

On Friday February 16th, 2024 at 4:21pm, 3 District (Welland/Fenwick) uniform officers with the Niagara Regional Police Service attended a residence in the area of Heather Court in the City of Welland in relation to a theft call.

Information was that the home owner was missing jewelry and currency from her residence.  As a result of the investigation and with the assistance of Coins Unlimited helping trace the origins of the property, it was determined that a house cleaner allegedly stole the items from the residence. 

On June 7, 2024, Robin L. North (41 years old) of Thorold, was arrested and charged with the following offences:

Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5,000 Possession of Property Obtained by Crime for Trafficking

North was released on a Form 10 – Undertaking with a future court date.

Officers have reason to believe there may be other victims of this offence.
