Missing Winnipeg teen hasn’t been seen in weeks: police

Winnipeg police are seeking the public’s help in locating a missing teenager who has not been seen in weeks.

According to authorities, 16-year-old Sarah Johnson was last seen on April 15 in the North End area of Winnipeg. She was reported missing by her family on April 20.

Police describe Johnson as Indigenous, approximately 5’5″ tall, with a slim build and long black hair. She was last seen wearing a black hoodie, black leggings, and black and white Nike shoes.

Investigators have been following up on leads and have been in contact with Johnson’s friends and acquaintances, but so far, there have been no sightings or information on her whereabouts.

Johnson’s family is concerned for her well-being and is pleading for her safe return. They say it is out of character for her to be out of touch for this long.
