A driver under the influence of alcohol crashed into a parked car in Langford, British Columbia, causing significant damage to both vehicles.

According to the West Shore RCMP, the incident occurred on Saturday evening at around 9:30 p.m. The impaired driver was traveling on Goldstream Avenue when they lost control of their vehicle and collided with a parked car on the side of the road.

The impact of the crash caused extensive damage to both vehicles, with the parked car being pushed onto the sidewalk. Fortunately, no one was inside the parked car at the time of the incident.

The driver, who has not been identified, was arrested at the scene and is facing charges of impaired driving. They were also issued a 90-day driving prohibition and their vehicle was impounded for 30 days.
